Elk
We offer fully guided elk hunts with both bow and rifle. We offer our elk hunts in two separate areas. The first area is hunted in the Bighorn Mountains west of Kaycee, Wyoming. The second area is in the Bear Lodge Mountains, northwest of Sundance, Wyomng.

The elk hunt in the Bighron Mountains area west of Kaycee is a fully guided hunt. It is guided either 2x1 or 1x1. This is hunted on 45,000+ private acres. It is hunted both with a bow or rifle. Bow season runs September 1 through 30; rifle season is October 15 through November 15. This mountain country is accessible by 4x4 vehicles. Most of the hunting is done by ATV and on foot. Lodging for this hunt is a remote mountain cabin (bow season) and/or motel/mountain cabin, depending on weather conditions in the rifle season. Trophy potential in this area runs from 260- through 310-class bulls, with some larger. This area is one of the easiest draw areas for bull tags in the state.

The elk hunt in the Bear Lodge Mountains, northwest of Sundance, is fully guided 1x1. We offer both bow and rifle hunts in this area also. This area consists of 65,000+ acreas of both private lease plus National Forest. Bow season runs September 1 through 30; rifle season is October 15 through December 15. This area is also hunted with 4x4 to get to the area, sometimes hunting either with ATV or by foot. Lodging on this hunt is out of the Smith Lodge. Trophy quality in this area are bulls from 300- to 340-class, with some larger. This limited quota area is a tough license draw.

Hunt Dates
Bow: September 1–6; 8–13; 15–20.
Rifle: October 15–December 15.
