Another rough weather hunt! 7 of the 8 hunters harvested at least one Tom. The 8th hunter was only able to hunt 2 days.
3 of these hunters, chose the 2 bird hunt. 1 hunters harvested his 2nd bird.
2 hunters were on the 3 bird hunt. They combined to take 5 Toms.




We had 10 hunters in camp. They were 100% shooting on their first bird, harvesting 8.
3 of these hunters chose the 2 bird hunt, all three harvesting all their birds.
4 of the hunters did the 3 bird hunt. 2 hunters harvested 2 birds, each. The other 2 hunters harvested 3 birds each.




This was a group of 10 friends and family from all over the country.
This group experienced some of our worst turkey hunting weather we have ever had on a 3 day hunt.
6 of the hunters harvested the first bird, with 100% opportunity. There were 5 misses.
2 of these hunters hunted the 2nd bird, harvesting 1.


We had 8 hunters in camp. 7 of the hunters harvested their Toms. They were 100% shooting.
6 of these hunters choose to hunt the 2nd bird. They harvested 4 of their Toms.





We had a total of 8 hunters in camp.
1 hunter chose the single bird hunt – 100%.
5 chose the 2 bird hunt – 4 hunters took both birds, the 5 th hunter did not get a bird, missing on 5 total opportunities.

2 chose the 3 bird hunt – harvesting 4 birds in WY and 1 bird in SD.
There was ALOT of shooting going on in this hunt. Besides the birds harvested, we had a total of 8 misses.

We had a Total of 8 hunters at the Lodge.



6 Hunters were single bird hunters – 100% successful on Mature Toms.
2 Hunters chose the 3 bird hunt and they also were 100% successful on all their birds.

1st Week – April 9-12
We had a total of 9 Hunters in Camp

7 of these hunters chose the 2 bird hunt. 1 Hunter was a single bird hunter. 1 Hunter did the 3 bird hunt.

All the hunters harvested all their birds, making this week 100% successsful.

We had another outstanding year. However, we stuggled with some of the worst spring weather conditions than we have had, since we began hunting the spring turkeys.
We took 64 regular clients.
The hunters were 61 for 64 on the first bird. 63 for 64 shooting opportunity.
50 of the 64 hunters, chose to hunt a 2nd bird. They harvested 41 birds. 46 for 50, shooting opportunity.
8 of these hunters ended up hunting a 3rd bird in SD. They harvested 4 birds. They had a 5 for 8 shooting opportunity.
Many mature birds are still in the woods. These, along with the outstanding jake population, we expect another outstanding season in the spring of 2011.

Michael Waddell, Phillip Culpepper and Nick Mundt brought special guests, Jemery and Robert Williams from Pine Mtn. Valley, GA, for a 2 day hunt. Both Jeremy and Michael harvested 2 mature merriams on film.

Primos joined us once again this year for the last couple days of the season. Doing some video for “The Truth” series. They were 4 for 4 on the single bird hunt.
