We started the 2010 Fall season with Antelope Bow hunters.

So far we have taken nine Antelope Bow hunters. They have harvested eight mature Antelope Bucks with 100% shooting.

This month the guides have been scouting for Whitetail, Muledeer and Elk. Preparing for the upcoming September 1st bow season.
We are really seeing some good animals and are anxious to begin hunting the Deer and Elk.
We had another outstanding year. However, we stuggled with some of the worst spring weather conditions than we have had, since we began hunting the spring turkeys.
We took 64 regular clients.
The hunters were 61 for 64 on the first bird. 63 for 64 shooting opportunity.
50 of the 64 hunters, chose to hunt a 2nd bird. They harvested 41 birds. 46 for 50, shooting opportunity.
8 of these hunters ended up hunting a 3rd bird in SD. They harvested 4 birds. They had a 5 for 8 shooting opportunity.
Many mature birds are still in the woods. These, along with the outstanding jake population, we expect another outstanding season in the spring of 2011.

Michael Waddell, Phillip Culpepper and Nick Mundt brought special guests, Jemery and Robert Williams from Pine Mtn. Valley, GA, for a 2 day hunt. Both Jeremy and Michael harvested 2 mature merriams on film.

Primos joined us once again this year for the last couple days of the season. Doing some video for “The Truth” series. They were 4 for 4 on the single bird hunt.

The weather FINALLY turned to the normal spring weather. We had 6 – 3 bird hunters along with 1 – 2 bird hunter and 1 singe bird hunter. The hunters were 7 for 8 on the first bird, 3 for 7 on the second bird, but 5 for 7 shooting opportunity. 4 of these hunters went to SD to try for the 3rd bird. They were 0 for 4 with a miss.

This hunt also, we struggled with poor hunting conditions and very bad weather. We took 8 hunters and harvested 7 mature birds. 6 of these hunters hunted the 2nd bird, harvesting 5.

During this hunt, even though we had very bad weather, 8 hunters took 8 mature birds. 7 of these hunters were on the 2 bird hunt. 5 birds were taken and the 2 that did not harvest, each missed.

During this hunt, 3 of the hunters tried to take the 3rd bird, in SD. 1 was successful.

We had 8 hunters this hunt. Took 8 mature merriam toms. 3 of these hunters hunted the 2nd bird in WY. Harvesting 2 of the 3. But were 3 for 3 shooting. Also, during this hunt we were privledge to have in camp, GA Governor, Sonny Perdue. He harvested 2 good merriams for the Realtree cameras.

The past 2 hunts, April 22-24 and April 26-28

We had a total of 18 – 2 bird hunters. They were 18 for 18 on their first bird and 17 for 18 on the second bird. The non-successful hunter, unfortunately missed on his only opportunity.

Another great hunt. We had a total of 8 hunters.

4 on a single bird WY hunt and 4 on the 2 bird WY hunt. All filled their tags with mature Merriam gobblers.
